Atomic Hr is seeking a Technical SEO Lead to oversee technical SEO across a portfolio of higher education accounts. You will write developer-ready specs, fix optimization issues, and track results.

A core part of the role is building Claude-based tools to automate audits, reporting, and QA, enabling the team to focus on content and strategy. You will work remotely with international clients, collaborating with the SEO Lead and Executive Director of SEO, ensuring high-impact issues are

Qualifications

• 5+ years in SEO, with at least 3 focused on technical SEO
• Track record of uncovering high-impact issues and driving fixes
• Hands-on experience with Google Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog, and Ahrefs or Semrush
• Strong WordPress knowledge to spec fixes precisely
• Clear written communication, capable of writing dev-ready specs

Responsibilities

• Lead technical SEO across client accounts and defend prioritizations
• Write dev-ready specs and follow fixes through to verification
• Manage light WordPress tasks like titles, meta descriptions, redirects, and schema
• Monitor Search Console and GA4 for drops and indexing issues
• Design Claude-based tools and workflows for audits, reporting, and QA
• Document systems and train the team on them
