AgileEngine is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a squad building backend services in Java and Spring Boot, with an Angular frontend. This person balances hands-on architecture work, including domain-driven design and RESTful API patterns, with day-to-day mentorship of the team.

The role calls for someone comfortable making technical calls and standing behind them. We are looking for a Tech Lead/ Squad Lead with 4+ years of experience, strong OOAD, and a deep understanding of domain bounded contexts.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead with mentoring experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular, with at least 4 years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns, and architectural pattern awareness.
• Deep understanding of domain bounded contexts.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful services with standard API protocols.
• Experience with relational databases PostgreSQL and Oracle, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Passion for server-side logic, performance, and architecture with solid engineering practices.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to execute on deliverables while maintaining high engineering standards.
• Spend time designing and implementing robust backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain the supporting Angular frontend, ensuring a seamless connection between the UI and backend.
• Lead the transition to domain-driven design with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs that use proper HTTP verbs and scalable patterns.
• Mentor the team, motivate juniors, and promote best practices and architectural integrity.
• Push back when necessary to protect quality and cohesion.
