AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a squad building backend services in Java and Spring Boot with an Angular frontend. You will balance hands-on architecture work with day-to-day mentorship, making technical calls and standing behind them.

The role requires leadership experience, strong Java/Spring Boot and Angular skills, and hands-on API design, with a focus on domain-driven design and scalable RESTful patterns. Remote work options are available.

Formación

• Proven experience as Tech Lead or Squad Lead with mentoring background.
• Advanced proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and RESTful services.
• Strong OOAD knowledge and design pattern awareness.
• Experience building/consuming RESTful APIs and managing domain boundaries.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or Oracle and JPA/Hibernate.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to deliver high-quality software.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop the Angular frontend and ensure seamless UI-Backend integration.
• Lead transition to domain-driven design with strong bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP semantics and scalable patterns.
• Mentor junior developers and promote best engineering practices.
• Push back when needed to preserve architectural integrity.
