AgileEngine is seeking a Tech Lead to guide a squad building backend services in Java and Spring Boot, with an Angular frontend. This role balances hands-on architecture work with day-to-day mentorship, and requires strong domain-driven design and RESTful API expertise.

You will design, implement, and scale backend systems, lead architectural decisions, drive best practices, and help grow junior engineers, all in a remote-friendly, growth-focused environment.

Formación

• Proven experience as a Tech Lead or Squad Lead, with mentoring.
• Advanced Java (Spring Boot) and Angular with 4+ years.
• Hands-on with Kafka.
• Strong OOA/OOD and design patterns.
• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and Oracle; JPA/Hibernate.
• Domain-driven design and bounded contexts.
• Server-side focus, performance, architecture.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the Squad Lead, driving the team to deliver while upholding engineering standards.
• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop the Angular frontend and ensure UI-backend integration.
• Lead transition to domain-driven architecture with bounded contexts.
• Architect RESTful APIs with proper HTTP patterns.
• Mentor juniors, motivate the team, and promote best practices.
• Push back on unsuitable approaches to protect architectural integrity.
