Job summary

Teamswell is seeking a responsible Paralegal to join our remote team, handling corporate and transactional matters for US clients. You will work closely with attorneys to manage a diverse client portfolio, primarily small business owners, in Latin America.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and can communicate effectively with all levels of an organization. A proactive mindset and problem-solving skills are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of paralegal experience in corporate, transactional, or regulatory matters.
• Paralegal certificate or an associate’s/bachelor’s degree; certifications add value.
• Strong research skills using Westlaw, Lexis, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client and counsel interactions.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines remotely.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing contracts, corporate filings, and LLC documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support business advisory work.
• Manage client files, corporate records, and document execution and filing.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to obtain information.
• Prepare forms with municipal, state, and federal agencies, including annual reports.
• Assist with alcoholic beverage licensing applications when needed.
• Serve as liaison between firm, respondents, and government departments.
• Develop and document workflows to improve internal processes.
