Job summary

Teamswell is seeking a highly organized Paralegal to support attorneys in corporate and transactional matters for a diverse client base of small business owners. This is a fully remote, fast-paced role that rewards accuracy, initiative, and clear communication across teams.

You will draft and review contracts, file corporate records, assist with licensing applications, and manage client documents with meticulous attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years as a paralegal in corporate, transactional, or regulatory practice.
• Paralegal certificate or associate/bachelor's degree; certifications (e.g., NALA) a plus but not required.
• Experience with corporate/LLC formation, annual reports, and filings.
• Strong legal research using Westlaw/Lexis; solid internet research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; professional client interaction.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts and corporate filings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support attorneys on business matters.
• Manage and organize client files and corporate records; ensure proper execution and filing.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and third parties to obtain information.
• Prepare and file forms with municipal, state, and federal agencies; assist with licensing.
• Develop workflows to improve internal processes and firm efficiency.
