Job summary

Latino Legends is seeking a Construction Assistant to serve as the operational backbone for rehab and new build projects. You will manage vendor bids, permits, inspections, and contractor compliance while maintaining meticulous records remotely.

As an Independent Contractor, you will handle high-volume communications, ensure projects stay on schedule, and keep stakeholders updated. Proficiency with cloud tools and real estate processes is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years administrative, operations, or project coordination experience.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Autonomy with complex file systems, schedules, and compliance steps.

Responsibilities

• Source and obtain 2–3 bids per project.
• Draft detailed Scopes of Work (SOWs) for RFPs.
• Verify licenses, COIs, and W-9s for contractors.
• Administer agreements, sign-offs, and invoices.
• Organize project files in Google Drive and Coda.
