Airwallex is seeking an INFOSEC Governance, Risk and Compliance Regional Specialist based in Mexico City or San Francisco. You will anchor regional security compliance, interact with regulators, and implement policies balancing regional needs with global standards.

You’ll leverage AI, manage security controls, and contribute to the growth of Airwallex’s regional security program in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Formación

• 5–7 years of cybersecurity experience with independent execution.
• Must have a Mexican RFC or dual Mexican citizenship.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Experience in fintech or payments security is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 controls and audits.
• Policy creation and maintenance in complex cloud environments.
• Understanding of regional security and regulatory requirements (LATAM).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as regional anchor for Mexico City, aligning with global GRC.
• Coordinate with regulators, customers, partners, and vendors on security posture.
• Lead implementation and monitoring of security controls with high standards.
• Leverage AI/automation to streamline compliance and reporting.
• Develop and maintain security documentation, standards, and dashboards.
• Act as SME for security compliance in the Mexico region.
• Execute hands-on security tasks and drive initiatives independently.
• Collaborate across teams to adapt controls to local regulations.
