Job summary

Mam De La Frontera, S.A. De C.V. is seeking a seasoned Quality Engineer to drive improvements in quality and performance indicators across SMT, THA, Test, and OOBA processes.

The role requires strong analysis, data-driven decisions, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in electronics/automotive, extensive experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and FDA QSR, plus 5+ years in Quality

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of proven experience in the electronics and/or automotive industry.
• Minimum of 5 years in Quality Engineering position, strong knowledge of quality management systems and experience in continuous improvement, failure analysis, and problem-solving.
• Strong English skills: 90% proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, IATF 16949, and FDA QSR standards, and knowledge of SMT processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Participate in and lead quality improvement initiatives.
• Analyze failures and nonconformities, identify root causes, establish and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Promote a culture of prevention and continuous improvement within the organization.
• Serve as liaison between Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Customers.
