Job summary

Autoliv in Querétaro seeks an Industrial Engineer focused on automotive quality to lead quality processes, root-cause analysis, and preventive actions across manufacturing. The role emphasizes adherence to IATF-16949 and ISO-9001 standards, with a strong emphasis on problem solving and continuous improvement.

You will guide the AMG team, implement Jidoka and Yokoten strategies, and interact with customers to resolve quality concerns.

Qualifications

Experience with 8D problem solving and SPC.
Knowledge of PFMEA and Control Plan.
Familiarity with MSA and GD&T.
Experience with ISO-9001 and IATF-16949 audits.
Understanding of PPAP process and manufacturing controls.
Proven ability in continuous improvement (PDCA, Kaizen, Jidoka, Yokoten).
Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality in all productive processes, applying Quality Systems and standards.
Review and analyze quality concerns to prevent defects and drive improvements.
Lead and galvanize the team to address customer concerns and drive corrective actions.
Develop strategies to meet DPMU targets and improve OPI metrics.
Coordinate follow-up on Jidoka and scrap reduction initiatives.
Provide timely follow-up to AFRs and on-time closures.
