A packaging company located in Baja California is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector. The role involves conducting inspections, ensuring product compliance, and collaborating with various teams to maintain high-quality standards. Ideal candidates should possess a high school diploma and have strong communication skills along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience in QA processes is preferred.

Formación

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts QA inspections on the assembly line and collects samples as required per procedure
  • Inspects, verifies, and validates that product quality is in accordance with customer compliance requirements, assembly instructions provided by Product Development Assistant, and that product is always assembled with the highest visual appearance standards
  • Conducts QA inspections on products received
  • Communicates discovered inconsistencies with applicable line leader, Production Manager, Inventory Manager, and Administrative Operations Manager
  • Updates and maintains necessary inspection documentation
  • Escalates and holds the production line if QA issues are detected
  • Provides firm feedback and solutions on the QA process
  • Analyzes and implements production compliance requirements based on customers’ guidelines
  • Works with Product Development Assistant to understand components and structure of the gift set
  • Collaborates with cross functioning teams: Operations, Inventory, and Production on effective and working solutions
  • Participates in team activities, daily production meetings, and contributes to implementation of new workflows and standard operating procedures
  • Assists Human Resources Administrator with warehouse audit preparation and procedures
  • Assists in preparation of the Production Compliance Documents
  • Contributes to the development of new MIMS inventory management software options after proper training that will help and simplify the QA process
  • Utilizes and keeps multiple excel files and folders up to date
  • Trains other employees on QA and other quality policies and procedures
  • Manages the Food Sample Room inventory and organization
  • Works on other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to move in between locations
  • Ability to learn and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work in a diverse team
  • Spanish preferred
