Job summary

Eaton in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution of the production plan.

You will drive SQDCI targets, supervise a large team, coordinate resources, and support continuous improvement using Eaton tools such as Lean Manufacturing, ELS, and 5S. The role emphasizes accountability, engagement, and culture as guided by Eaton values.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field required.
• Min 3 years of experience as a production supervisor.
• English: intermediate to advanced; manufacturing background a must.
• Experience leading production teams (30+ people).
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems, safety programs, and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a safe work environment through accident prevention, investigations, and compliance with safety rules.
• Monitor and report daily production performance and deviations.
• Coordinate resources to resolve issues, improve processes, and meet customer needs.
• Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance workforce capability.
• Manage attendance, overtime, vacations, and permissions per company policies.
• Lead continuous improvement using Lean, EBS, and 5S methodologies.
• Maintain inventory control, reduce WIP, and optimize material flow.
• Support departmental goals with performance monitoring and corrective actions.
• Ensure proper handling of non-conforming materials and traceability.
• Collaborate with Human Resources on employee lifecycle processes.
• Monitor equipment and initiate maintenance to ensure safe operations.
• Promote Eaton values, ethics, and quality policies within the team.
• Coach and motivate employees to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately and timely.
