Job summary

Eaton Group in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Quality leader to directionally guide Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality functions. You’ll mentor engineers, partner with the Inspection team, and drive supplier improvements in quality, delivery and lean initiatives.

You will oversee PPAP approvals, ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulations, and implement corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams while standardizing key activities across the site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8 years of experience in a similar position and leading teams.
• Fluent English and knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, mentoring and development of Quality Engineers and Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Collaborate with the Inspection team (Final and Receiving) to drive quality.
• Lead supplier improvement in Quality, Delivery and Lean Manufacturing.
• Identify needs and develop Quality Engineering and Supplier Quality Engineering functions.
• Oversee Supplier PPAP approval.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements and regulations for product quality.
• Drive corrective and preventive actions with customers, suppliers and internal teams.
• Support improvement through process controls and QA plans.
• Review and standardize daily activities to support key initiatives.
• Communicate and report effectively to customers and suppliers.
• Adhere to EQMS, MESH, AEO, ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards.
