Flex, a leading manufacturing partner, seeks a Jr Production Planning Supervisor in Guadalajara, North Site. You will assist materials and production functions under the Sr Master Scheduler, coordinating with teams to meet ship dates and inventory targets.

The role requires a BS in supply chain or related field, experience in materials/inventory roles, and strong Excel skills. Afternoon shift availability is preferred, with growth opportunities within a collaborative environment.

• BS degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration.
• Experience as a Materials Supervisor or Inventory Control Coordinator.
• Inventory management experience.
• Experience in materials assortment on the production floor.
• Intermediate Excel proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Guides order processing activities for major customer units.
• Advises associates on day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Interfaces with customers for escalations and problem resolution.
• Monitors performance against ship date, turnaround, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates with Master Scheduler on material availability and product life cycle.
• Drives process improvements in Order Management.
• Plans and approves releases to production planning systems.

Reporting to the Sr Master Scheduler, Jr Production Planning Supervisor role involves In charge of helping materials and production functions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Guides order processing activities for major customer units.
• Advises non-exempt associates regarding day-to-day priority of customer requests.
• Serves as advanced interface with customer for escalations of order dedications, order expedites, and problem resolution.
• Monitors and proactively addresses issues that impact performance to dedicated ship date (CSD), turnaround time, reply time, and inventory goals.
• Coordinates and manages high-visibility and/or important customer programs. May include initial customer or product startup initiatives or large customer programs.
• Coordinates with Master Scheduler to manage product life cycle and related materials availability issues.
• Drives process improvements inside and outside the area of Order Management.
• Plans, schedules, coordinates and approves product release to the production planning systems based on material and capacity availability.
• Provides input to management, reschedules, and /or interfaces with customer program management, master scheduling, customers and production control to reschedule production in the event of design changes, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential schedule interruptions.
• May also hold up inventory control, supply chain management, material planning, and scheduling.
• Manages the activities of his subordinates
• Guides and coordinates the supply of raw materials to the corresponding destinations
• Supervise inventories
