Flex is seeking an Associate Production Supervisor for its Guadalajara, North Campus operations. You will oversee multiple production lines, guiding a team to achieve volume, quality, and cost goals while coordinating with engineers and operators.

The role requires prior Production Supervisor experience, strong leadership, and familiarity with electronics manufacturing. Availability for 3rd shift and a flexible schedule are needed, with intermediate English as a plus.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Associate Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to Operations Manager, Associate Production Supervisor this role involves overseeing directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.

Typical Day

• Manages the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment and in charge of the line’s success.
• Evaluates daily/regularly plant operating performance and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiency and quality.
• Guide a team of professionals (e.g. engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery and acknowledge requirements.
• Troubleshoot and explore operational problems and advise on their resolution.
• Guide regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational comprehension and capability.
• Solicits and evaluates ideas for plant improvements and contribute with qualified engineers to develop project proposals.
• Provides technical and operational advice to project teams.
• May act as principal interface between the operations team and the maintenance function.
• Engage in training and coaching of junior operators.
• Prioritize production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate and participate in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assist in department budget planning and management of department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing team members on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with standards.

Experience and Requirements

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Production Supervisor.
• Strong experience as leader.
• Intermediate English is a plus.
• Availability to work the 3rd shift.
• Flexible working hours availability.
• Experience in similar position in electronic manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production control systems (Serials, flows, traceability).
• Knowledge in specifications and standards related to electronics.
• Experience in the use of Floor shop systems.
• Knowledge in assembly processes (End to End).
• Experience in BAAN system (SAP).
