Flex is seeking a Production Supervisor in Guadalajara South to lead production lines in a highly technical electronics environment. Reporting to the Import/Export Manager, you will develop and execute QA programs to prevent defects and ensure product quality.

You will manage a team, monitor performance, and drive improvements with engineers, coaching staff to meet cost, delivery, and quality targets while maintaining a safe workplace.

Formación

• Bachelor degree is required.
• English: intermediate level.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Production Supervisor located in Guadalajara South. Reporting to the Import/Export Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for developing, implementing, coordinating, and executing quality assurance programs to prevent or eliminate defects in new and existing products, with a strong focus on electronics manufacturing and robust server-grade assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the production of several processes/lines in a highly technical environment.
• Manages a team of professionals (e.g., engineers/officers) to meet quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness requirements.
• Reviews daily/regularly plant operating performance, evaluates areas that may be impacting performance, and advises on changes in operating conditions that will improve efficiencies/quality.
• Troubleshoots/analyses operational problems and advises on their resolution.
• Holds regular discussions with operators to coach performance and improve operational understanding/capability.
• Evaluates ideas for plant improvements and works with qualified engineers to develop project proposals to encourage improvements and changes.
• Provides technical/operational advice to project teams.
• Acts as principal interface between the operation team and the maintenance function.
• Trains and coaches junior operators and junior team supervisors.
• Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply to meet customer requirements.
• Initiates and participates in process development and cost improvement projects.
• Assists in department budget planning and manages department expenses.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance of standards.
• Ensures that all manufacturing area personnel are trained and certified in their specific functions.
• Ensures that all manufacturing personnel adhere to all safety guidelines.
