ABB in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, Jalisco, is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment. You will define work phase sequences for new processes to meet cost and investment targets, and support production with start-up activities and improvement projects.

The role requires a degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, plus extensive experience in winding processes for electric motors, automated systems, and SAP/ERP familiarity.

Formación

• Degree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical.
• 5+ years in manufacturers business.
• 5+ years experience in winding process for electric motors (full automated preferred).
• Experience with monitoring/maintenance of automated systems (PLC, pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, electronics).
• Familiarity with KPI s (OEE, MTTR, MTTF).
• Green belt and/or ISO 9001 internal auditor is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and implement production-improvement opportunities within timeframe, quality, and cost constraints.
• Approve designs for internal/external processes and perform final tests.
• Support production during start-up of processes/equipment and define action plans.
• Evaluate new process technologies to improve productivity, quality and cost reduction; lead testing and supplier selections.

Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnsiteThis role is contributing to the MXNEM ABB Nema Motors division in Tlajomulco de Zuñiga, JaliscoYou will be mainly accountable for:Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.Qualifications for the roleDegree in Industrial Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical, Have a demonstrated track record of 5 years in manufacturers business. Technical careers or not finished with extensive knowledge of +10 years.Minimum of 5 years of experience in winding process for electric motors (Full automated process preferred).Experience on monitoring and maintenance of automated systems(PLC´s, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and electronic elements).Analysis and diagnostics for corrective and preventive maintenance.Familiarized with KPI´s (OEE, MTTR, MTTF). Knowledge on C++. You have worked constantly with SAP or ERP software, Office package and CAD design (Auto CAD or Solid preferred).Green belt certification and/or ISO 9001 internal auditor is high valued.You are at ease communicating in verbal and writing on Spanish-language.
