ABB in Juárez, Nuevo León seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineer focused on New Product Introduction for switchboards. You will optimize production methods, lead process validation, and manage costs, quality, and safety targets across assembly lines.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in mechanical/electrical/mechatronic/industrial engineering, 4+ years in NPI/Product/Manufacturing roles, and strong skills in Windchill PLM, SAP, AutoCAD, Creo and MS Project.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, industrial or similar engineering.
• 4+ years as NPI/ Product/ Manufacturing Engineer focusing on switchboards.
• Experience with Windchill PLM, SAP, AutoCAD, Creo and Microsoft Project.
• Strong in APQP, Change Management, cost reduction and manufacturing processes.
• Willingness to travel; English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and optimize production methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours.
• Define working phase sequence for new production processes to meet cost and investment targets.
• Ensure appropriate methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and material readiness for production targets.
• Approve process designs and perform final tests for projects.
• Support production during startup, define action plans and train resources.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction; lead testing activities.
• Travel as required; maintain valid passport and work eligibility.

You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSiteThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Juarez, Nuevo Leon.You will be mainly accountable for:Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)Bachelors Degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, industrial or similar engineering.4+ years of experience in these fields, working as an NPI Engineer, Product Engineer, or Manufacturing Engineer with switchboards.You are immersed in and highly skilled in New Product Introduction (NPI), Project Management, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), APQP, Change Management, Cost Reduction Initiatives, and Manufacturing Processes, and enjoy working within the electrical equipment and power distribution industry market.Possess an enhanced knowledge of Windchill PLM, SAP, AutoCAD, Creo, Microsoft Project, and engineering change management systems.You are passionate about continuous improvement, problem-solving, customer satisfaction, teamwork, and driving innovation through collaboration across multiple functions.Ability to travel as required. Valid passport and eligibility to work in Mexico.
