ABB in Guadalupe, Nuevo León, is seeking a Maintenance technician to support the tooling team. You will adjust tooling, perform model changeovers, repair faults on the press, and conduct basic testing of equipment to ensure smooth operation.

The ideal candidate has a technical degree in Machining and Tooling with at least a year of related experience, plus knowledge of 5S, safety practices, and mold/die maintenance. Onsite role with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or technical degree in Machining and Tooling or related field.
• One year of professional experience related.
• Blueprint/technical drawing interpretation and use of precision measuring instruments.
• Press operation, die repair and maintenance, and basic electrical knowledge.
• 5S methodology and workplace organization principles.

Responsabilidades

• Complete daily work reports and verify materials, tools, and equipment for assigned tasks.
• Monitor work progress and quality; report machine, tooling, or safety issues to supervisor.
• Repair and maintain molds, dies, inserts, and other tooling; perform die setup and adjustments when needed.
• Support production during approval, startup, transfer, or implementation of new or repaired tooling.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area; manage tooling inventory and ensure QMS compliance.
• Participate in continuous improvement, safety, Kaizen, and 5S activities; identify equipment and safety replacements.
