ABB in Juarez, Mexico, is seeking a Quality Engineer to support deployment of the quality strategy within a local unit. The role focuses on prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, and sustainable solutions on the factory floor.

You will monitor processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and lead containment and corrective actions to achieve world-class quality results for the ELSP division.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years in Quality/Process/Manufacturing Quality in a manufacturing environment.
• Intermediate to advanced English for technical discussions.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Hands-on knowledge of problem-solving methodologies: 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, RCA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and quality KPIs.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor manufacturing processes and quality performance to identify risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of quality procedures, standards and work instructions.
• Assist manufacturing teams in reducing process variation, defects, scrap and rework.
• Define and monitor process quality indicators and improvement actions.
• Lead or support structured problem-solving for internal and customer quality issues (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, RCA).
• Coordinate containment, RCA, corrective actions and effectiveness verification for nonconformities.
