ABB in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, seeks a Procurement Specialist to own purchasing and logistics activities within the ABB Procurement function. You will execute processes per ABB standards to ensure cost, quality, and delivery optimization while maintaining compliance and fostering continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with local suppliers, implement sourcing plans, and participate in training programs to develop professional skills and ensure procurement best practices across the business.

Formación

• At least one year of professional experience in procurement or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or related).
• Advanced English communications skills.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.
• Designing and implementing plans and effective strategies for local sourcing of products/materials to reach business targets.
• Supporting in implementing effective local sourcing strategies in line with business strategy to meet current and future business requirements.
• Applying and implementing procurement standards, tools, and processes in your area of responsibility to secure quality, delivery, cost, and sustainability.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure the implementation, maintenance, and compliance of the purchasing and logistics-related activities in the Procurement function to support the businesses. Each day, you will execute assigned activities as per ABB standard procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by delivering and participating in training programs as required to ensure compliance and to foster professional development.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distributed Systems in San Luis Potosi, S.L.P.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Executing purchasing and logistics strategies to support the business by optimizing costs, quality, and reliability of suppliers and supplied products.

Qualifications For The Role

• At least one year of professional experience
• SAP management as desirable-Microsoft Excel and Power BI management
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronic, or related)
• Advanced English communications skills
• Effective communication and leadership skills
