ABB is seeking a procurement professional in San Luis Potosí to manage purchasing activities in line with policies and supplier negotiations. You will generate POs, track deliveries, and ensure production needs are met while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 1+ years in purchasing, SAP experience, advanced Excel, and fluent English. US visa is preferred. On-site role with competitive benefits.

This position reports to:

Procurement Team Lead

In this role, you will have the opportunity to purchase materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Each day, you will ensure purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in San Luis Potosi.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Creating and Managing Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
• Monitoring Supplier Performance (On Time Delivery).
• Track goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
• Managing order confirmations and deliveries ensuring production needs are met.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support material availability and supply chain performance.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor's degree - International Trade, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or similar
• 1+ years experience in purchasing / material planning, or related activities
• Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes
• ERP knowledge, SAP preferred and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Outlook)
• **Advanced English required**
• Active US VISA is preferred
