ABB Smart Power in Mexico is seeking a skilled Trade & Customs professional to own local import/export operations in San Luis Potosí. You will supervise customs brokers, ensure compliant documentation, and manage declarations to support efficient, compliant trade processes.

Reporting to the Trade & Transportation Manager, you will optimize daily shipments, apply customs procedures, and drive continuous improvements in transport and trade activities. Fluency in English is required.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, International relations or Business Management (required).
• From 2 to 5 years of professional experience in international logistics, trade and shipment activities.
• Advanced English (required).
• Use of TMS (Transportation Management Systems) preferred.
• SAP or similar ERP tool knowledge preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Monitoring daily import/export shipments and ensures smooth customs clearance via the appointed customs brokers.
• Understanding and applying relevant customs procedures and ensures the relevant declarations are correctly made.
• Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
• Facilitating continuous review and improvement in the operational transport and trade/customs activities.

Your Role: Own the Challenge

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions business in San Luis Potosi.

Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position.
