ABB, a leader in industrial technology, seeks a Quality Specialist to support the deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit in San Luis Potosí. The role focuses on prevention, continuous improvement, and robust root cause analysis to exceed customer expectations.

You will collaborate with local functions to ensure sustainable operations and world-class performance in the Low Voltage team in SLP. English fluency and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required.
• 2+ years of experience in similar roles preferred.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 standard is required.
• Experience working with electrical drawings is preferred.
• Experience with SAP, Excel and Power BI is advantageous.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Support deployment of the quality strategy for the local unit.
• Assist in achieving customer expectations with prevention and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with local functions to reach targets and world-class performance.
• Conduct preventive inspection for incoming material and address supplier quality issues.
• Follow-up on material replacements and supplier coordination.

Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the deployment of the quality strategy for a local organizational unit, including quality culture, systems, tools, and competent teams with the aim to achieve and exceed customer expectations, while ensuring sustainable operations. Each day, you will assist the organization in achieving the right mix of prevention, continuous improvement, robust root cause analysis, quick response, and sustainable solutions to problems. You will also showcase your expertise by collaborating with local functions that impact the quality results to reach the targets for the organizational unit and aim for world-class performance.

The work model for the role is:

This role is contributing to the Low Voltage team in SLP.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Conduct preventive inspection for incoming material.
• Addressing supplier‑related quality issues on the production line.
• Analysis of identified quality issues.
• Follow‑up on material replacements.
• Supplier follow‑up and coordination.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor´s Degree in Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience working in similar roles.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard.
• Experience working with electrical drawings.
• Experience working with SAP, Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
• Fluent in English.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with flexibility and a keen eye for detail.
