ABB is seeking a senior supply planning professional to lead site planning, inventory control, and resource management in Ramos Arizpe. You will drive initiatives to improve on-time delivery and lead times, ensuring alignment with the overall inventory and supply plan in a manufacturing setting.

The role requires 8+ years in planning and logistics, plus strong SAP and Excel skills, and fluency in English and Spanish.

• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced English and Spanish language skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally; a U.S. visa and passport preferred.
• APICS certification is an advantage.

This position reports to: Business Manager - Enclosures

Your Role

Own the Challenge In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Each day, you will drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plan. The work model for the role is: On site Global relocation/LTA support will not be considered for this position. This role supports the Smart Buildings NEMA Enclosures factory in Ramos Arizpe.

Key Responsibilities

• Owning the site supply planning process.
• Providing visibility of supply capacity and local supply objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process.
• Running a short-term planning process or Sales & Operation Execution process, ensuring seamless alignment between planning and execution.
• Supporting the profitable execution of customer orders, in coordination with business functions and Supply units (feeder factories).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Planning, Fulfillment, and Logistics.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel.
• Advanced English and Spanish language skills.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.
• Availability for occasional travel; a valid U.S. visa and passport are preferred.
• APICS certification is considered an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree completed.
