Infoblox is seeking a Kentik Platform Deployment Engineer to join our Professional Services team. You will lead the technical onboarding and deployment for new Kentik customers, guiding them to measurable early success and coordinating with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering to ensure a smooth transition post-sale.

Bring 5+ years in customer-facing tech roles, strong network and scripting skills, and experience with cloud, databases, and APIs. Travel up to 20% is required.

Formación

• Five or more years’ experience in a customer-facing technical role focused on software implementation or onboarding.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to explain highly complex technical topics clearly and concisely.
• Experience with TCP/IP and routing protocols (IPv4/IPv6, BGP, MPLS, ISIS, OSPF, HTTP, DNS).
• Experience with network monitoring suites (NetFlow, sFlow/IPFIX, SNMP).
• Demonstrable experience with Linux/UNIX systems administration.
• Demonstrable experience with vendor CLI’s (Cisco, Juniper, Arista).
• Working experience programming/scripting (Python, Bash, Ruby, PHP, Perl).
• Experience with DNS, DHCP, IPAM is a plus.
• Working experience with RESTful APIs.
• Working experience in network and routing security (DDoS mitigation/scrubbing, Firewalls, Security Groups, NACLs, microsegmentation, RPKI).
• Working experience in creating and analyzing traffic packet captures (tcpdump, Wireshark).
• Experience with cloud hyperscalers like AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, or OCI.
• Experience with CDN architectures (Anycast, OTT, GSLB, etc.).
• Understanding of responsible AI practices, including data privacy, customer confidentiality, human validation, and secure use of AI tools
• Experience with synthetic/network performance testing
• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (BA or BS), or equivalent experience
• Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.

Responsabilidades

• Perform the technical onboarding and deployment experience for new customers.
• Collaborate with customers to execute the technical onboarding implementation plan, ensuring a clear path to their First Desired Outcome.
• Lead the deployment and configuration of the Kentik platform, including Private Agent installation, test creation, and initial setup for new Kentik customers.
• Work closely with Sales Engineers and Account Managers to ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to post-sales delivery.
• Identify and elevate technical challenges or product gaps that may impact a customer's successful onboarding.
• Validate AI-generated outputs against network data, logs, configurations, and security requirements before applying changes or sharing recommendations.
