Plant Maintenance Team Lead — TPM, Reliability & Safety

Job summary

Colgate-Palmolive is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader in a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will manage maintenance activities, budgets, and contractors while driving TPM and energy-saving initiatives to maximize equipment reliability.

You will lead a team of technicians, enforce GMP, and apply RCA methodologies to reduce downtime and improve MTBF/MTTR across PET blow molding and packaging lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 4–6 years as Maintenance Leader, Supervisor, or Reliability Engineer in high-speed plants.
• Experience with PET blow molding, filling, capping, labeling, and palletizing lines.
• Strong RCA, MTBF/MTTR, and maintenance budgeting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily preventive/predictive maintenance schedules and RCA to improve MTBF and reduce MTTR.
• Authorize safety permits, conduct safety walkthroughs, and ensure proper certifications before tasks.
• Oversee PET blow molding lines and packaging equipment—filling, capping, labeling, palletizing.
• Manage maintenance budget, spare parts inventory, vendor contracts and external services.
• Drive TPM standards, continuous improvement and energy reduction initiatives across the plant.
• Direct and develop maintenance technicians and ensure GMP adherence.
