Essity is seeking an Operations Manager at our tissue production facility to drive safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets while leading Process and Maintenance teams. You will guide TPM initiatives, optimize KPIs, and manage budgets in a fast-paced plant environment.

Ideal candidates bring 5–8 years in industrial manufacturing, strong TPM and cost-management knowledge, and advanced English. Willingness to travel/relocate is required as part of global collaboration and continuous improvement

Formación

• University degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electromechanical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably in tissue paper production or continuous processes.
• Strong knowledge of TPM methodologies, manufacturing cost management, maintenance systems and operational processes.
• Proven leadership capabilities with strong communication and coaching skills; ability to perform under pressure.
• Advanced English proficiency and willingness to travel and relocate when required.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and deliver safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale targets for the operational area.
• Identify, eliminate and prevent unsafe conditions, fostering a strong safety culture across teams.
• Lead, coach and develop Process and Maintenance teams to achieve high performance and engagement.
• Manage operational budgets, resources, overtime and cost per-ton for maintenance and labor.
• Define and implement strategies to improve equipment efficiency, reduce waste and optimize key operational and financial KPIs.
• Drive TPM implementation (AM–PM), root cause analysis (RCA) and structured daily management systems.
• Participate in savings, infrastructure and new product development projects in collaboration with local and global teams.
