Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mexico seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance team across shifts, drive TPM activities, and ensure safe, reliable production. You will manage work orders in CMMS, coordinate spare parts and contractors, and collaborate with operations to minimize disruption while pursuing continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and experience with maintenance processes, CMMS, and safety/environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing people in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Experience supervising a maintenance team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lead multi-shift operations and coordinate priorities.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and equipment reliability.
• Experience with CMMS and disciplined work order management.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance personnel and coordinate work across all shifts to support production needs.
• Plan, assign, and follow up on preventive, corrective, predictive, and autonomous TPM maintenance activities.
• Use the CMMS to manage work orders, prioritize tasks, and track maintenance execution.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of mechanical, electrical, and automation-related equipment issues.
• Monitor equipment performance, downtime, and uptime trends to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and operational procedures.
