Job summary

Forvia, a sustainable mobility technology leader, seeks an IT Technician to support daily IT operations at the plant, managing local networks, hardware, and software systems. You will administer user support for Stratos Help Desk tickets and maintain shop floor systems to ensure continuous MES operations.

Responsibilities include escalating issues to L2/L3, performing server maintenance, backup verification, and coordinating with IT leadership to manage the local budget.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or 5 years of experience in the function.
• Experience troubleshooting and determining when to escalate issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Support IT issues and users on shop floor/MES (Level 1 troubleshooting).
• Engage L2 or L3 support when needed.
• Manage server disk space and perform OS patching.
