Qualifications

• BA degree required.
• Excellent English skills, written and spoken.
• Strong communications and customer service abilities.
• Minimum 2 years of direct payroll experience.
• Workday experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and payroll software.
• High attention to detail and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Processes weekly & bi-weekly payrolls for US & Canada.
• Handles deductions, garnishments, 401K loans and related items.
• Responds to unemployment and payroll data verifications.
• Maintains payroll records and prepares special reports.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws.
• Complies with company payroll policies and procedures.
• Processes payroll checks for regular, special, commission, and bonus payments.
• Counsels and resolves employee payroll issues.
• Creates and analyzes reports as needed.
• Keeps current on payroll trends and regulations.
• Performs other projects or duties as required.
