Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze salary and hourly payroll for US and Canada.
  • Audit, analyze, and balance system outputs with vendors and internal customers.
  • Manage time import and processing within timelines for assigned locations.
  • Review payroll information, deductions, and bonuses.
  • Support research and resolution of payroll-related issues.
  • Assist HR representatives and employees with payroll inquiries.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Job description

Position Summary

The HR Shared Services (HRSS) Payroll Administrator is responsible for processing and overseeing payroll operations for multiple countries while ensuring compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, payroll vendors, and business leaders to deliver accurate and timely payroll services while supporting global payroll standardization and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for analysis and processing of salary and hourly payroll for US and Canada.
  • Responsible for the routine audit, analysis, and balancing of the system output to various vendors and internal customers.
  • Manage time import and process within timelines for assigned companies/locations.
  • Organize and review employee payroll information and payroll files.
  • Analyze reports and data extracts as needed.
  • Audit controls and records for input and outputs from payroll system.
  • Review employee deductions and supplemental earnings.
  • Review non-scheduled items such as stock options, fringe benefits and bonus payments.
  • Assist in research and resolution of payroll-related activities.
  • Assist Human Resources representatives, employees, and third-party individuals with issues from research to successful resolutions.
  • Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, or a related field completed.
  • Experience with Workday Payroll and UKG Kronos time systems.
  • 3+ years of payroll/HRIS System experience.
  • Prior experience in a multi-company, multi-state manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of international payroll regulations and statutory requirements a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or global payroll certification. (preferred)
  • Experience with payroll transformation, shared services, or centralized payroll models. (preferred)
