Job summary

Aspen Technology in Mexico is seeking a senior sales professional to lead complex OT software opportunities for electric and gas utilities in LATAM. You will drive digital transformation through strategic account management and value-based selling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Technology, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of consultative sales experience in software or utilities.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA or OT solutions within utilities (electric / gas).
• Prior or current experience in the energy/utility sector is mandatory
• Fluent/native Spanish (required); Advanced English (required) for interaction with global teams
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools
• Willingness to travel (Mexico, Central America, and Caribbean)

Responsibilities

• Lead complex sales of OT software solutions for electric and gas utilities.
• Develop new business opportunities with mid-sized and large companies in the utility sector.
• Build and execute strategic account plans aligned with growth targets.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, identifying strategic customers and qualified opportunities.
• Develop 3-year account plans including technical solutions, pricing strategy, and financial targets.
• Work closely with engineering and development teams to design tailored customer solutions.
• Deliver impactful, consultative sales presentations focused on business value.
• Lead commercial negotiations and contract closure.
• Collaborate with proposal and delivery teams to ensure high-quality technical and commercial offerings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, challenges, and industry developments.
