ETAP is seeking a technically versatile OT Infrastructure Engineer to join our Global Support group in Mexico City. The role sits at the intersection of IT systems administration and operational technology, building and operating a virtual lab that replicates customer and project environments across the ETAP portfolio.

You will manage VM templates, reproduce incidents for faster diagnosis, and collaborate with technical leads to prioritize replication requests.

Formación

• Advanced English proficiency (C1 or higher).
• 3+ years in IT/OT infrastructure or related role.
• Hands-on VMware/Hyper-V for building and managing virtual environments.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Experience with SQL Server or MongoDB and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong networking fundamentals and ability to reproduce topologies.
• Structured, methodical troubleshooting and self-learning mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain a virtual lab replicating customer/project systems.
• Own VM templates, availability, version control and capacity planning.
• Reproduce incidents in the lab for faster root-cause analysis.
• Troubleshoot configuration issues in replicated ETAP environments (files, MongoDB, SQL Server, Windows services).
• Replicate customer network topologies (IP, VLANs, configs).
• Support Global Support Engineers with tailored replicated environments.
• Coordinate replication requests with Global Support and technical leads.
• Document procedures, templates, findings, and known configurations.
• Progressively develop ETAP solution knowledge (SCADA, PSMS, EMS) under mentorship.
• Support Global Support workflow with Jira ticket tracking and escalation coordination.
