ETAP Software in Mexico City is seeking an Automation Engineer to own end-to-end deployment and integration of ETAP Real-Time solutions, including Power Management Systems, Electrical SCADA, and digital twin implementations across clients in the Americas and internationally.

You will work hands-on with product teams, configure RTU and field devices using Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, and OPC UA, and guide junior engineers while delivering projects on time and to high quality.

Formación

• Advanced English communication and client-facing skills.
• Minimum 3 years delivering electrical SCADA or power monitoring projects.
• Experience building HMI graphics and configuring device communication.
• Working knowledge of Modbus and DNP3, including troubleshooting.
• Industrial networking know-how with IP addressing and architecture.
• Ability to read single-line diagrams and explain system behavior to clients.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end deployment and integration of ETAP Real-Time solutions.
• Lead client-facing technical communication and handovers.
• Configure RTU and field device communications (Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, IEC 104, OPC UA).
• Program and configure RTUs/PLCs using IEC 61131-3 languages.
• Manage protective relays, settings retrieval, and asset data management.
• Design and develop electrical HMI graphics representing power systems.
• Create and maintain one-line diagram models of client networks.
• Troubleshoot SCADA/HMI and power management issues independently.
• Perform and lead functional testing, commissioning, and client training.
• Identify risks and scope changes and communicate to project management.
