Job summary

Valmont Industries, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Assistant to be the primary contact for customers throughout the order fulfillment process.

You will coordinate order management, logistics, scheduling, and delivery while communicating with internal and external stakeholders. You will build strong customer relationships, proactively resolve issues, and work across production, planning, logistics, and sales to ensure on-time delivery and operational excellence for customers,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Experience in Customer Service, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Order Management.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced English proficiency in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders from receipt through final delivery.
• Coordinate shipment schedules, delivery locations, and transportation requirements with customers and logistics providers.
• Collaborate with production, planning, logistics, and sales teams to meet customer expectations and delivery commitments.
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, risks, or potential delays to customers.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to orders, shipments, product quality, or missing materials.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP and transportation management systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and cross-functional teams, including U.S.-based stakeholders.
