Job summary

Dana Incorporated in Mexico is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive Lean Six Sigma based improvements across manufacturing operations. You will identify opportunities, analyze data, and lead cross-functional teams to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 3+ years in manufacturing, and proficiency with value stream mapping, DMAIC, 5S, and root cause analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Experience applying Lean Six Sigma in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for improvement and lead productivity, quality, and cost reduction initiatives using lean and Six Sigma tools.
• Investigate process inefficiencies and defects, perform data analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Organize and lead cross-functional improvement events to engage teams in identifying and solving operational challenges.
• Establish KPIs and dashboards to track progress of improvement initiatives and report results to leadership.
• Provide training on continuous improvement tools and methodologies, and support teams through change implementation.
