Job summary

Nextpower seeks a Senior Manager, Project Services to lead the Project Management Team in Mexico and drive LATAM operations to meet schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations.

The role translates regional objectives into actionable plans, allocates resources, oversees project execution, and maintains executive relationships with Tier 1 customers while partnering with the Commercial Team on strategic opportunities and contract expansions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8+ years of experience managing industrial, energy, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading project teams, supervising professionals, or managing work through others.
• Strong understanding of project management concepts, applications, resource planning, risk management, and operational execution.
• Familiarity with environmental, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Fluent English and Spanish, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Project Management Team within established policies and practices.
• Drive growth of the department through capacity planning, budget planning, and stakeholder coordination.
• Translate functional plans and regional objectives into operational processes, priorities, and execution.
• Organize the department structure, monitor progress, and assess financial performance and business impact.
• Manage initiatives to improve performance, reduce costs, and implement corrective actions.
• Recommend process/tools changes to improve project execution, reporting, risk management, and satisfaction.
• Conduct performance evaluations, support development, and promote team growth.
• Support the Commercial Team with strategic customers and new opportunities.
• Strengthen relationships with key customers and support contract expansion.
