Job summary

ABB is seeking a Training Coordinator-level role in Apodaca, Nuevo León, to develop and strengthen technical training, onboarding, competency development, and certification for hourly manufacturing staff. You will work closely with Trainers, Experts, Supervisors, and Operations Leaders on the production floor to ensure effective knowledge transfer and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• Internship or up to 1 year of experience in manufacturing, operations, technical training, continuous improvement, or related processes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and facilitation skills.
• Advanced English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead competency committees and technical training development with cross-functional teams to identify knowledge and skills for hourly employees.
• Create and update competency maps, certification sheets, and training requirements by position.
• Coordinate promotion and assessment processes including evaluations and follow-up of requirements.
• Maintain active presence on the production floor to identify training needs and measure effectiveness.
