Job summary

Johnson Controls in Apodaca, Mexico is seeking a Training Manager to lead training strategy and LMS for a technical manufacturing environment. The role focuses on New Hire Orientation, skills-based training, trainer development, and ongoing readiness across shifts.

You will lead a team of trainers, partner with operations, quality, safety and HR, and drive measurable training effectiveness through structured assessments and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience leading training and onboarding in a manufacturing, industrial, or technical environment.
• Experience coaching trainers, instructors, or frontline learning teams.
• Strong knowledge of training design, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of a technical LMS for new hires and ongoing training.
• Manage New Hire Orientation and transition to full-time roles.
• Set strategic vision for training across the Gilbert campus.
• Lead, mentor, coach, and evaluate a team of trainers and learning professionals.
• Hire and train technical instructors and implement train‑the‑trainer programs.
• Build knowledge, skills models, and assessments.
• Own reporting and communication of training metrics to stakeholders.
• Audit training effectiveness with operations, quality, and safety leaders.
• Translate complex technical expectations into usable learning content.
