Job summary

ABB in Apodaca, Nuevo León, is seeking a Production Engineering Manager to optimize assembly methods, processes, and equipment to reduce labor hours while meeting quality, costs and safety targets. This onsite role focuses on CAPEX projects, supplier validation, and production line readiness.

You will define working phase sequences, manage supplier quotes, track schedules with Gantt charts, and support the introduction of new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Advanced English communication skills.
• Experience with 3D design software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• CAPEX project documentation and justification (financial analyses, business cases).
• Supplier validation and qualification.
• Machine release and approval processes.
• Follow-up with suppliers and machine manufacturing progress.
• Gantt chart tracking and project schedule management.
• Production line support for new equipment implementation.
• Requesting and managing supplier quotations.
