Job summary

New Era Cap in Mexico City is seeking a qualified legal contracts specialist to review, draft, and negotiate licenses, services and supply agreements. You will support internal clients across MX and LATAM, ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.

This is a full-time, on-site role at our Santa Fe office, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will have a law degree (license in process acceptable), at least 1 year of contract experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Law degree (license in process acceptable).
• 1+ years in contract review, legal opinions, and document management.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of contract and corporate law; IP and compliance basics.
• Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills; attention to detail; ethical and confidential.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review contracts and legal documents with a focus on risk mitigation.
• Negotiate terms under Legal Director supervision.
• Coordinate with internal clients and external counsel.
• Manage document control: versioning, signatures, renewals, and digital/physical storage.
• Prepare legal opinions, summaries, and reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, and other teams to align contracts with corporate policies.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies (anti-corruption, privacy, IP) and local regulations.
• Track contract pipeline, renewals, and risk alerts.
