Job summary

Vistance Networks is seeking a seasoned Corporate Counsel to support our CALA legal team in Mexico. The role reports to Managing Counsel and covers commercial, compliance, real estate and corporate matters across the region.

You will draft and negotiate contracts, develop policies and templates, and partner with business teams to reduce risk while enabling growth. In-house manufacturing experience and strong English skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Law Degree required.
• Qualified lawyer in Mexico with 10+ years post-qualification experience.
• Fluency in English (reading, writing and speaking) required.
• In-house legal department experience preferred, manufacturing sector exp.
• Strong team player with collaborative approach and high integrity.
• Ability to manage priorities with limited supervision and negotiate with outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Act as a business partner, advising business teams on commercial, compliance, employment, real estate and corporate matters.
• Coordinate with corporate functions to ensure risk-based consistency.
• Advise on contracting with customers, suppliers and third parties; draft and review terms.
• Support Human Resources on regional matters.
• Develop contracting strategies to maximize benefits and minimize risk.
• Support entity management across Latin America.
• Negotiate and draft purchase, services and licensing agreements to meet company goals.
• Collaborate across legal and business teams to communicate templates and policies.
