Sovos is seeking a licensed Mexican attorney to lead commercial legal matters across LatAm, with a core focus on Mexico. You will support local and global teams, drafting and negotiating SaaS, NDAs, and DPAs, and advising on deal structure and regulatory risk.

Expect to collaborate with sales and stakeholders to move fast while managing risk thoughtfully. You will also handle employment law matters in Mexico, oversee cross-border transactions, and assist with M&A activities in LatAm, leveraging

Formación

• Licensed to practice law in good standing in Mexico.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is required.
• Experience providing commercial legal counsel for tech/SaaS.
• Ability to draft and close technology contracts.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal oversight and support for customer contracting and commercial transactions in LatAm, focusing on Mexico.
• Draft and negotiate SaaS agreements, NDAs, DPAs, and partner agreements, leveraging AI tools for review efficiency.
• Offer strategic legal advice on deal structuring, regulatory considerations, and risk management.
• Oversee cross-border transactions, ensure adherence to international/regional standards, contribute to company policies.
• Advise on Mexico employment law matters and manage disputes and litigation with outside counsel.
• Assist with M&A and post-acquisition integration activities in LatAm.
