Regnology is seeking a talented lawyer, based in Mexico, to join its legal team to support the Americas business. You will have experience of commercial legal affairs and are able to balance legal risk whilst at the same time support and drive the commercial objectives of the business.

The successful candidate must demonstrate strong diligence as well as excellent drafting and organizational skills. You should be comfortable working in a fast paced, growing, and dynamic business and are able to

Formación

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of relevant experience in a software vendor business.
• Experience working with revenue teams and independently negotiating customer agreements.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable in a rapidly changing fast-paced environment.
• Understands different licensing models including SaaS and related IP challenges.
• Familiar with data privacy laws.
• Familiar with negotiating SaaS/IT agreements in the financial services industry and associate regulatory requirements.
• You are able to work independently with elevated levels of personal responsibility.
• You are able to collaborate with colleagues at all levels of seniority from teams across the entire business.
• Familiarity with AI concepts and its potential application in a business environment.

Responsabilidades

• Review, negotiate, and close customer contracts (SaaS, software licence, maintenance, managed service, outsourcing).
• Support the business with answers to questions about IP and privacy.
• Reviewing and negotiating supplier, partner, and teaming agreements.
• Keeping track of the negotiation trends and legal developments generally.
• Collaborating closely with the wider legal team to support larger legal projects.
