Job summary

GenesisBPO in Polanco, CDMX is seeking a Sales Team Lead – Bilingual (English/Spanish) to guide a team of sales agents selling same-day-funded loans to U.S. applicants. You will own day-to-day performance, coaching, and achieving quotas, reporting to the New Business Manager.

This leadership position emphasizes accountability and team development. The role requires fluent English, a background in phone sales, and experience leading teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required, written and spoken.
• 2+ years in phone sales, lending, or collections with quota history.
• 2+ years leading or supervising a sales team in a formal role.

Responsibilities

• Monitor speed to contact and enforce cadence on the sales floor.
• Identify stuck applications and drive resolutions the same day.
• Track team and individual metrics daily and address deviations.
• Contribute to process improvements in lead management and sales workflow.
• Run coaching sessions with each agent and use QA scorecards for feedback.

Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (7:00 AM–4:00 PM during U.S. daylight saving time). No evenings, no weekends.

About the Role

You’ll lead a team of bilingual sales agents selling same-day-funded loans to U.S. applicants. Reporting to the New Business Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day performance of the sales floor: speed to contact, conversion, funding quality, and agent development.

This is a leadership role, not a senior agent role. You’ll make decisions, hold people accountable, and coach your team to improve.

What You’ll Own

Floor & Lead Management

• Monitor speed to contact and enforce the contact cadence in real time


• Identify stuck applications (pendings) and drive them to resolution the same day


• Track team and individual metrics daily, and act on deviations before they become trends


• Contribute to process improvements in lead management and the sales process

Coaching & Development

• Run weekly one-on-one coaching sessions with each agent


• Use QA scorecards to coach specific behaviors: discovery, rapport, asking for the close, and personalized follow-up


• Support the onboarding and progression of new agents

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Fluent English, written and spoken


• 2+ years in phone sales, lending, or collections, with a proven record of meeting quota


• 2+ years leading or supervising a sales team in a formal Team Lead, Supervisor, or Coach role


• Experience coaching from call recordings or QA scorecards


• Proven ability to manage performance conversations and disciplinary processes


• Experience handling sensitive or confidential information

Nice to Have

• Exposure to U.S. consumer lending, loan verification, or underwriting
