Job summary

Outsourcing Advantage, a boutique MSP, is seeking an experienced L2 Systems Engineer to support multiple U.S.-based clients from Mexico. You will troubleshoot complex Microsoft 365 and Azure issues, manage Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Intune, and handle Windows Server environments.

This role emphasizes independent problem solving, strong communication, and a collaborative approach to safeguarding client infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years MSP experience in an environment with multiple clients.
• Experience supporting diverse IT environments and complex issues.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex problems.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune.
• Scripting and automation with PowerShell.
• Experience with Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Knowledge of virtualization platforms and security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support for multiple client environments.
• Troubleshoot issues involving Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and servers.
• Manage Microsoft cloud tech: Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Intune.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Domain Controllers, Group Policy.
• Configure and troubleshoot networks: firewalls, VPNs, content filtering.
• Support virtualization environments and hypervisors.
• Assist with Azure infrastructure: VMs and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Manage backups, troubleshoot, ensure successful recoveries.
• Document calls, resolutions, configurations, and procedures.
• Create knowledge base articles and technical checklists.
• Research new technologies to improve client environments.
• Communicate effectively with clients, teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Prioritize tickets and meet SLAs; collaborate to resolve escalations.
