Mars in Mexico is seeking a payroll professional to ensure accurate weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing in line with Mexican labor, tax, and social security regulations. You will oversee payroll for 1,000 employees, handle special calculations, and ensure timely, accurate pay and reporting.

You will also validate inputs, support audits, manage tax obligations, and drive automation to reduce manual work and errors. This role offers growth within a purpose-driven company.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of payroll processing experience in Mexico.
• Experience handling payroll for 1,000 employees.
• Experience with payroll systems (SAP, Workday, Workforce).

Responsabilidades

• Manage accurate weekly and bi-weekly payroll processing.
• Execute special payroll calculations, including Christmas bonus, vacation premium, and PTU.
• Validate all payroll inputs: hires, terminations, salary changes, leaves, bonuses, commissions, overtime.
• Calculate and approve severance and termination settlements per Mexican Labor Law.
• Ensure IMSS and INFONAVIT compliance, reporting and reconciliations.
• Manage ISR and ISN tax obligations: calculations, filings, payments.
• Support internal, external, and government audits with ICE controls.
• Manage payroll accounting, reconciliations, accruals, variance analysis, closing.
• Provide timely employee payroll support for inquiries, payments, deductions, payslips.
• Drive process improvement, automation, standardization, and documentation.
