Confidential Careers in Mexico is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to lead end-to-end payroll for three entities. You will ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely execution while partnering with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

Ideal candidates have 6–8 years of Mexican payroll experience, strong system knowledge (Tress, UKG WFM, SAP, Workday), and fluency in Spanish and English to support diverse teams.

• Spanish and English proficiency required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Mexico for three companies.
• Execute complex payroll calculations, adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
• Support annual ISR adjustment, PTU, aguinaldo, and savings fund processes.
• Ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations and statutory rules.
• Maintain payroll data across systems and handle deductions.
• Resolve payroll discrepancies and support audits (IMSS, SAT).
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure data accuracy.

We are seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist – Mexico to support end-to-end payroll processing for multiple legal entities. This role is critical to ensuring payroll accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely execution while partnering closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors.

This Is What You Will Do in This Role:

• Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Mexico, including weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for three companies
• Execute complex payroll calculations, adjustments, off-cycle payments, and final settlements for terminations
• Support special payroll processes such as annual ISR adjustment, PTU, Christmas bonus (aguinaldo), and savings fund
• Ensure full compliance with Mexican labor and statutory regulations, including LFT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, IC…?
• Maintain and manage employee payroll data across systems such as Tress, UKG WFM, SAP, and Workday
• Calculate and process mandatory deductions and contributions, including ISR, ISN, and Social Security
• Act as a subject matter expert, resolving complex payroll discrepancies, system issues, and employee inquiries
• Support internal and external audits (IMSS, SAT), ensuring strong controls and audit readiness
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and third-party vendors to ensure data accuracy and smooth payroll operations

What We Are Looking For:

• 6-8 years of proven experience managing Mexican payroll with strong knowledge of IMSS, INFONAVIT, LFT, IC…?
• Hands-on experience with payroll and HR systems such as Tress, UKG WFM, SAP, Workday, or similar platforms
• Strong Excel skills for payroll analysis, reporting, and data validation
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and data integrity focus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex payroll issues
• Excellent communication skills to support employees and stakeholders
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
• Spanish and English proficiency required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field preferred
