Job summary

Koch is seeking a Payroll Analyst to manage end-to-end payroll processing in Mexico, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery. You will analyze inputs, data, and records across entities to support compliance with labor, tax, and social security requirements.

You will collaborate with HR, Finance, Tax, Benefits, and external providers, executing weekly and biweekly payrolls and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with complex, end-to-end payroll processing in Mexico.
• Knowledge of payroll calculations, taxes, benefits, Mexican labor requirements, and social security obligations.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to analyze information, reconciliations, and datasets with formulas, filters, lookups, and pivot tables.
• Experience with payroll or time-and-attendance systems such as Eslabón, Kronos, SAP, TREES or RH7, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Execute accurate and timely weekly and biweekly payrolls for assigned employee populations, legal entities, and business units.
• Validate payroll inputs, employee data, time and attendance records, earnings, deductions, taxes, and benefits; investigate and resolve exceptions before payroll close.
• Process special and annual payroll activities, including terminations, severance, profit sharing, Christmas bonus, savings fund, food vouchers, and applicable year-end adjustments.
• Complete payroll, tax, payment, and accounting reconciliations; prepare accruals and journal entries and support monthly close activities.
• Support compliance with applicable payroll, labor, tax, and social security requirements, including SAT, payroll CFDI, ISR, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and FONACOT.
• Partner with Human Resources, Finance, Tax, Benefits, site teams, and external providers to resolve payroll matters, support audits, strengthen controls, and improve payroll processes and systems.
